Okay so Jessica asks us to update our blog...I am having a difficult time
doing this because I like opening the blog and seeing our beautiful children...
and their wedding pictures. :)
But I know that blogs are suppose to be updated so here we go...

The past few weeks we have been busy...with work, Michael hunting and
our YSA's...We also have had some more fun memories...
We had the blessing of helping with Katie (West) and John's wedding..we were
thrilled to be able to do this...
We also went to the YSA Dinner Theater and enjoyed the fun time there...
then this last weekend we went to our dear friends the Shaws with other dear friends...

Also while Michael and Dad are hunting Mom and I have gotten to go out to
dinner and shopping. That has been nice to spend time with her.

Another big happy thing is being able to talk with Jessica and Alan on the phone.
We love and miss them so very much...we are so blessed!!!!
We are hoping and praying to find great prices on plane tickets to bring them
home for Christmas... :) (so if anyone hears of special deals please let me know)

This is Katie and John's Wedding cake...We helped Katie's Aunt Wendy
with the frosting...not just any frosting...Fondant...It is not an easy thing
to do...Wendy is amazing...We so loved getting to know her better and laughing
and laughing...What a fun time...Didn't she do an absolutely amazing job?
Katie looks beautiful too!


Wendy made the flowers on the cake...they look so real!
It was beautiful...Should be in a wedding magazine...


Michael and I were also able to go and help set up with
Wendy for the luncheon...(I did not realize there was so much to
putting a wedding cake together..It is teadious and hard work..no wonder
they are so expensive)

While we were setting up Michael wanted to put something on the table
especially from him..If you look right in front of Katie and John you will see
a heart made out of rose petals...(this was not just thrown together) Michael
worked hard on this...Yes it may have been a touch "cheesy" but it definitely
was from his "heart" It did make them smile! We so love this family.

Then this last Saturday ..we went to Ken & Irene Shaw's home..

We all did Joy School together....(we have known each other for awhile)

Ken & Irene moved away and just moved back..we are so happy they are

back...
The Cheney's, the Wilkin's, the Jarman's, the Douds, the Shaw's and the Wallace's

all together again...there is nothing in this world like "old friends" especially

"Dear old friends" We are truly blessed with the best!

of the Quorum of the Twelve is coming to Powder Springs

Stake... It will be wonderful to sit at his feet and learn

from him...
