Grandpa Jim is soo much fun!!

One of Grandpa's fun poems:

Little Drops of powder
Little Dobs of paint
Can make a girl's complexion
Look like what it ain't!!

Grandpa also said that "he has the "pig flu"
He is eating everything!!!

Not really...he actually is only weighing 110 lbs...
He keeps loosing weight...
Grandpa said
"Old Soldiers never die, they just fade away."

He is sooo funny...Grandpa has always shared poems that
he remembers...some since grade school...We have
tried to save some of them...we wish we would have been
able to save more...We have enjoyed these fun times with
him...and learned many things from the things he has
shared...we love him so much..

Grandma just had her 87th birthday...Grandpa is 91...
and they have been married for 69 years...
We have been so very blessed to have them for so long...

We so love them!!!!

We went to the Atlanta "Tea Party"!!!
with Steven, Melinda and Tyler...
It was great!!

Then Laura went to school the next day and one of the teachers said I saw you on
tv last night and sure enough there she was...

Our Temple Prep Graduates

We had the great pleasure of teaching the
Temple Prep Class for the Millcreek Branch..
We had a great class...Brigham Lindsey,
Jared Danner, Meredith Davis, Andy Pereira, and
Angela Breiding!!
We all learned so much and enjoyed the spirit
of talking about the Temple...
Brigham will be leaving on his mission in May to
go to Mexico...Angela & Andy will be getting married
in April and Meredith & Jared will be getting married
in May...what wonderful blessings are in store for
these great YSA's...we truly love them & are so excited for
them...

Christmas with the Wallace's

So my entries are a bit off dates but that is okay...
Our Christmas was great...Jessica and Alan came to
be with us!!! Yea!! We had a great time together and
it was wonderful to get to know Alan better...
We also had the best blessing of having Dad with us...
He struggled with another stroke before Christmas...
Pretty scary....Dad is still struggling with talking a bit...
we are playing "Charades" a great deal...we are getting good at
it.... :)
We are thankful for our blessings!!!


This is our nephew Dominick....I think he was pretty
happy about having an older "guy cousin"...
He brought his gun stuff and wanted to share it
with us...(even Aunt Laura shot some)

We had a dvd Christmas this year and one of the movies
